Canadian Hall of Fame

To be admitted to the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club Hall of Fame a candidate must be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and owned in part or in full by a member in good standing (for a minimum two years) of the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club.

Any dog may be placed in the CMTC Hall of Fame, regardless of the criteria contained herein, through a majority vote of the CMTC Board of Directors. Such a decision would be made in light of outstanding individual performance and/or contribution to the breed. Candidates for such special consideration are arrived at through recommendations made by the CMTC Hall of Fame Committee.

Recipients are entitled to use of the suffix CHOF.

Point Requirements Points must be accumulated in at least two categories. Dogs: -- 15 points Bitches: -- 13 points

Conformation Points:
(Maximum 10pts)

CMTC Sanctioned National Specialties:

BOB - 3pts
BOS - 2pt
Award of Merit - 1pt

Canadian Championship - 3pts
Additional Foreign Championships (including International) - 2pts

Top Dog Placements (Confirmation) as tabulated by the CKC each year:
(Maximum 5pts)

#1 Toy or Standard Manchester Terrier in Canada - 5 points
#2 Toy or Standard Manchester Terrier in Canada - 4 points
#3 Toy or Standard Manchester Terrier in Canada - 3 points
#4 Toy or Standard Manchester Terrier in Canada - 2 points
#5 Toy or Standard Manchester Terrier in Canada - 1 point

Obedience:
(Maximum 10 points)

CD - 3pts CDX - 3pts UD - automatic induction UDX - see above TD - 3pts TDX - 3pts

High in Trial - 3 pts Score of 200 - 3 pts Foreign Obedience Titles - 2 pts per title

Agility:
(Maximum 10 points)

Novice - 3 pt
Intermediate - 3 pt
Excellent - 3pt

Foreign Titles - 2 pts per title

Miscellaneous:
(Maximum 10 Points)

Earthdog:

Junior - 1 pt
Senior - 2 pt
Master - 3 pt

Temperament Testing - 1pt
CGC - 1pt
Therapy Dog - 2pt

Points from Progeny:
(Maximum 5 points)

Points will be awarded equally in this category for progeny earning titles domestically and internationally (to a limit of one point per individual) providing that appropriate documentation is supplied. Titles must be earned from a recognized registering body (see application).

Progeny Performance/Obedience title - 1pt
