Judges Education

The CMTC Education committee is pleased to provide the following resources to assist judges wishing to learn more about evaluating Manchester Terriers (Toy and Standard).

Newsletter
The Canadian Manchester Terrier Club is pleased to make our newsletter, The Ratter's Review, available to judges electronically.  To receive a copy, please email the Editor.  If you have a password, click here to access our secure newsletter area.

Breed Standards
Though the Manchester Terrier is registered as a single breed, the Canadian Kennel currently maintains two separate but very similar breed standards for the two varieties.  The CMTC is working to address this inconsistency.

• Historical breed standards as well as current breed standards used in other countries can be found in our Reading Room.

Presentation Materials
The CMTC has created an informative PowerPoint presentation outlining the breed's history, form and function, breed standard, and touching on the finer points of breed type.
