Manchester Terriers in Competition

Manchester's are constantly invading new territory in the dog world as they make their mark in conformation and obedience rings as well as flyball, agility and earthdog trials across the country.

The Manchester's natural athleticism, speed and exuberance make them an ideal choice for dog sports--though, like most terriers, they have a mind of their own and can be a challenge to train.  The Canadian Manchester Terrier Club's Performance Committee supports all Manchester owners interested in taking part in competitive dog sports.  Additionally, they regularly share training tips through our newsletter, The Ratter's Review.  From instructions for teaching basic tricks like sit and roll-over to more complicated discussions of training and conditioning, this group is always interested in sharing their knowledge.
